ELSP Program - Third Meeting

Hello everyone!

I'm very sorry we were not able to meet at American Corner for our third meeting. I was afraid to go to campus because of the demonstrations you see, and I'm quite sure you wouldn't want to risk yourselves too ٩(-̮̮̃-̃)۶

So anyway, just try to imagine that we are having our class now. And you know my first question before we start our class... how is your reading going? Has your 'reading stamina' improved? Please let me now by commenting on this post or the link to this post on Facebook. I hope that the 'seed' we had planted at the very beginning of our class had started to grow into a sprout, as a result of your hard work!

Book Review - Stephen King's 'Lisey's Story'

This has been King's sixth work that I've read, and it's just as fabulous as the others. There are two reasons that I did not give it five stars. First was because it took me more than twenty pages to get into it, unlike his other works which got me hooked on the first page. Second was it took me a whole week to read it. There were quite a few times where I had to reread a few pages to understand certain events of the story, there were so many flashbacks. But all in all, it was yet another masterpiece.

A modified yellow Vespa. The owner seems to be an avid soccer fan judging by the stickers. Photo title was inspired by the license plate: M 4 R. When I took the picture, the opening soundtrack from the telenovela 'Marimar' was playing in my head.

Introduction to (Another) New Blog

My first blogging experience started at blogster.com, which only lasted for a year or so. And then I used wordpress, multiply, (other blogging websites that its name has escaped my memories), and the last one was tumblr. But finally, tumblr had problems and I changed to blogspot :)

I've been asked by my friends whether or not I have a blog. Now that I do have a new one, I hope I'm not too lazy to write ~(^w^)~
